During my 14 years in the print media industry I have been exposed to just about every single sphere of design. I started my career back in 1999 as a DTP Bureau operator and later, Bureau manager.

 

Between 2002 and 2007 I worked for various print suppliers in the capacity of Graphic  Designer. I undertook various freelance opportunities after hours during this period and also assisted with software training and technical issue resolution.

 

In 2007 I was employed by OUTsurance in the capacity of Graphic Designer and Print Team Leader in the marketing department. I learnt valuable information about marketing and how a marketing campaign is managed across all media platforms. I was tasked with managing their corporate identity as well as that of two of its subsidiaries.

 

Starting in 2008, I was employed by educational publisher, Heinemann Publishers as Managing Designer and later, Design Manager. Here, I learnt about the South African educational landscape, book design, project management, budget management, resource management, rights management, efficiency and change management.

 

After all this time a dream is realised ... My own creative services agency. I am as in love with the industry as I was when I started and am intrigued by technological advancements as they happen. I look forward to working on a project with you.
